So I figure Deftones fans would remember. There was an artist a few years who released an album that was a pretty close Deftones clone. Album cover was mostly black with some rainbow colors swirling on it.

In terms of a Chino-ish style, i guess i like Junius more since they are bit more atmospheric/ post rock

Yeah, I'm digging Vexes more now that I'm a bit more removed from it. I hope the vocalist challenges himself to move away from the Chino-worship on their next album.



I've been on a Deftones kick after listening to what's been released of the new Sleep Token album. There are parts of that album, like that atmosphere, that are done so well. But they really quickly get stuck in a pattern for their song writing. Just made me want to listen to the Deftones haha.
