I don't see anything wrong with saying you don't like a record or band but singling out specific people for doing so is pretty lame

Yeah but this is a music forum website so it’s expected that that’s 90% of what goes on

“If you guys don't agree with someone in terms of subjective tastes in music, tough luck, deal with it, and get on with your lives.” (2)
yeah, honestly it stems from either insecurity and / or a lack of acceptance / tolerance for others unlike yourself. Either way it’s not a good look

My issue isn't with disagreements or criticism, it's when people can't seem to take criticism of their favorite album in stride, when they take it personally, or when they start trolling about it

yeah, I’m talking about the personal stuff. It’s fine to say “damn this is awesome, how are you not getting this because x y z” etc. rather than just being insulting

Coma has a history of targeting people with a difference of opinion, so it’s not a surprise exactly

seriously tho, album is quite good but I do understand some of the reservations, especially relating to the vox (not usually my cuppa either tbh)

honestly that would feel so out of place on any other record, I think we can really say these guys have a sound of their own because I didn’t really even flinch when that happened lol

ehh
anyways, I think Celebrity Therapist is a little more consistent and for sure more concise but they really went for it here and I love that, insane that they go in a thousand different directions but none of it really ever feels out of place

The production here is really strong (especially in relation to a lot of modern core that tries to fuse lighter moments / genre fuckery). The heavier moments do not lack bite, which in the context of the album is quite impressive. In fact I really dig the harsh vox.
Some of the riffing style isn’t completely my bag, but still.

t/t, star baby and field sobriety practice all clear everything on this but this is for sure consistent after 5 listens
these guys have a pseudo-iwabo vibe with all the comedic moments on this, could have seen them successfully integrate a ugga ugga boo back in the day
