Heat Death might be my 2nd fave. Satisfying.

“ This is good but I am not sure if I understand the hype quite yet. Some of the instrumental work is amazing but man, these vocals drag it down for me”

This is basically where I’m at rn. I think the vocals are actually pretty great when they’re in the mix with everything else cranked to 11, but there are multiple instances where they sound a bit grating to me. And the cleans are just not it. This continues to grow on me despite that

That's a shame I really think the vocals in all facets are exceptional, but I know that's always something that is particularly subjective

His cleans are amazing and I’m left wondering where tf they were on clairvoyant.

Am I just not remembering right? I don’t remember any cleans on that record

Need that vinyl to come in so I can read the lyrics. Just me, a jointarooni, and some vinyl spinning

Vinyl from Dogknights is delayed, but Deathwish should be going out soon if not already. I’ve seen others spinning online.

a nice touch is that the vinyl tracklisting was well thought out in terms of where to separate the sides/discs, they're fairly natural pauses

@Hawks: I wouldn’t say the vocals are bad or poorly executed at all, the cleans are just not quite stylistically there for me. Has a lot to do with the register/pitch and me associating that sound with scene kid shit. The beginning of Bodega Head is pretty beautiful though
