This album is a bloated mess, but it has its moments.
The newest snippets of them in studio have them teaming up with Mick Gordon again - could be fun.

Stumbled upon this AI made BMTH song. If they'd do something similar it'd be even more awesome, but it's impressive on it's own

Listening to this again today and I just happened to check the songwriting credits and holy shit. Every song has like 6 or 7 writers and song composers. Shit is wild.
Then I go check Sempiternal and there are 2 or 3.

I watched some behind the scenes stuff which kind of explains that. Like, they're obviously using external writers, but some of them are doing very specific parts, like glitch effects, or texture stuff in the background.

Yeah I couldn't believe it when I saw Sewerslvt listed in the mix of credited artists (under their new pseudonym Cynthoni). What a wild twist.

The Hunting Party was probably the most forced-heavy album of LP's career so I don't really think I'd want that here. And I liked THP dgmw!

In my dream last night I was listening to YOUtopia a bunch. Such a great track.

collaborating with sewersvlt is exactly the wavelength I'd expect this band to be on for coattailing mediocre edgecred artists

Just realised the opening melody to Darkside is the same melody that Oli sings in In The Dark. The part where he says "Brought a T62 to a rodeo".

I've cooled a bit on this one.
I still think it's really fun for the most part and has some cool ideas, but it's inevitably bogged down from being in development hell for a while, and lacks the focus and vision of Survival Horror and amo.
For my money, amo is still the best thing they've done.
