This album is slightly overrated, but not much. It is still a brilliant slayer album, but not necessarily their best in my opinion. It's basically an album that defines traditional thrash metal.

megadeth does own slayer... and this album is good but definitely overrated in my opinion. I feel like a lot of people are afraid to say this album is good but not great. (yes I acknowledge that some people genuinely LOVE this album and I have no problem with that)
People also seem to think they will sound like they know what they are talking about if they say this is a great album.

Lots complaining about Tom Araya's vocals, as far as thrash is concerned IMO he is the best, would you rather Het with his "Your luck runs outtttaaaaaaa" Ugh
