if anything they’re gaining new fans through the reverse exposure. Fleshwater fans wanting something heavier will find Vein unlike how we found them the other way around.

Solid stuff. Got a great atmosphere/tone/sound. Kicking myself for not getting there early enough on Deftones tour to see them. Should have checked them out/looked into them beforehand.



At any rate, just discovering them now and looks like they have a new album coming up, so good timing in that regard!

she does sound great, but tbh the super smallest gripe that I have is that she’s a bit upfront in the mix. I got so used to the pocket in where she was at including live, but the frontperson mix works if they’re aiming for more pop sensibilities.
