Am I the only one who understands the complexity of this ambitious cinematic masterpiece?

Pamela is probably in my top 3 from this album. It gives me deranged Silent Hill 3 vibes.

Yeah Grimace is an absolute sludge tour de force.

Something I ain't seen mentioned yet is how good the production is on this. So many modern metal bands have awful sounding drums but this kit fucking wallops. Also the bass rattle so good and the reverby hi-gain guitars offer so much for the atmosphere. To top it off, the vox are exactly as dominant as they should be. GG sound engineer.

I volunteer somewhat regularly at a soup kitchen, like one weekend a month. Three hours on a Saturday at most. It has an employee staff but the volunteers set up lunch for the afternoon, which means folding napkins, unpacking bread, set up and break down, cleaning, and wait service.

During COVID, lunch time service was reduced to brown bag lunches, but my wife made ten lunches every Monday night and I carried them to the facility every Tuesday morning.

The whole building was much more than that; anyone could come in for lunch, for free. If you wanted, you could take a shower. There were clean clothes. You could get a mailbox there. There was staff to help you work towards employment. I'm so happy that places like this exist.

There's a whole mess of reasons WHY people live outside, but I hope they don't "have" to. I wish they'd come down to the mission and stay for lunch.
