I wish I got to hear something off of Haven, but yeah the set was incredible regardless.

looking at the setlist now and it looks more or less like all their other recent tours save for the addition of Moment songs, which kind of has me hesitant about going. plus the openers look less than droll. I do have a friend that has never seen DT that wants to go so that might just be the saving grace

I'm on the fence too, I saw them last time with you Carl at Baltimore Soundstage IIRC, but eh I really don't want to see Kataklysm, and I've seen DT a handful of times in their more recent years. Maybe i'll check them out in Richmond this Friday, not totally sure yet, also the venue they chose kinda sucks

Kataklysm honestly was fun as fuck, just a pure adrenaline ride from start to finish. Don't sleep on Nailed to Obscurity either, they were fantastic all around.

oh yea, we did go to that bmore show! it kicked ass I remember. I think they played a few off Haven that time. which venue did they choose in RVA?
you're definitely warming me up to the idea of going Mars, but only if my friend ends up wanting to lol

Yeah man, DB and Carl, living it up in Baltimore. They are playing at the Canal Club.. which is just sad these days. The National and Broadberry are much better venues.

Remain in the Unknown is such a good song. Probably their poppiest song ever but I love it. It's got a unique charm to it

I'm just happy to have seen these guys while they still for the most part had their original lineup (WatV tour), they rocked my socks off. Also, Insomnium opened for them and I couldn't believe how good they sounded (I'd never heard them before), immediately went and downloaded their shit
I think this album is great as a whole and would be fun live, but I just don't know if I'd want to go and see them again given how only Stanne and Brändström are left

For sure, the first time I saw them was on their Haven tour and it was incredible. I've probably seen them 4 or 5 times now, the last being their Atoma tour so I'm not super bummed I missed this one. We'll catch em next time Carl \m/

Insomnium and DT must have been a great show, two of my all time favourites tbh

haven't jammed this since it came out. I remember it was good but nowhere near the level of Fiction, Character, Damage Done, Projector. Just mid-tier DT

it's close to Fiction

no way. Fiction is like 1st tier for me. I'd be shocked if this was more than a 3.0
