Surprisingly enough, Into the Sunset actually was a grower on me here. Everything else... not so much. I guess I have a soft spot for crabcore.

Born to Fail would be such a banger track if it weren't for Tillian's cringey range on the verses.

"Tillian's cringey range on the verses"

What does this mean

just his vocal inflection during the verses is so... off. the soaring effect he puts on his voice just doesn't sound polished. Considering how polished he usually has his voice on songs, it sticks out like a sore thumb to me. I cant exactly put my finger on describing it.

Born to Fail is garbage and the only one that deserved the diss was Jonny, otherwise it sounds like Til is butthurt that he'll never be as good as he was in Tides of Man

well people keep talking about it as if it is a diss. Jonny deserved it but Tides did not. Tilian's just being petty because he'll never live up to Empire Theory.

Yeah PEOPLE not the band themselves dummy. I believe what the guys who actually wrote the song say over random folks.

i couldn't give a shit about any of the supposed drama behind it lmfao

and i've probs said this but idk the verses and chorus feel like they don't mesh well with the song especially after that intense intro.

and the tides reference makes me sad because he's supposed to be screaming it

I see this thread has gone off the rails but I just wanted to throw in that after re-listening ~3 more times I'm gathering that I don't love the album really at all but I have no problems with it either. If a song comes up in my shuffle I won't skip it, but I probably won't actively listen to it anymore than I have - except for Nothing Shameful, god that song is niiiiice
