Yeah if anything, it's the sound of the individual instruments. The bass is very loud, the guitars are often shrill and shaking, and the drums are all over the place in tightness. Thank god the music is pristine.

The production also blows away Vigilance Perennial, which I didn't mind, but this is definitely a step up. They tour with their own sound guy too who handles the mix, and this albums sound is reproduced very well live
