By the snakes of Medusa, the songwriting on this album's incredible. It's drenched in anger, but far from a mindless golem. I feel it compliments the savagery and cold-heartedness of the craftsmanship perfectly. Unfortunately, I wish I could say the same about the production quality; not that the mixing is terrible, per se, but compared to Prowler in the Yard, there's an ingredient missing (still better than Book Burner, luckily). Me having to elaborate on this for hours would be like comparing the taste of a wolf's tongue to the genitalia belonging to that of a she-devil.
Man, is that puzzling.

This album feels more massive to me plus the riffs and vocals on here are better than Prowler. Lyrically genius with its ability to incite visions of otherworldly gore, demons etc told about in a way that I've never seen another band pull off nearly as convincingly.
