The Amulet, Nesting Dolls and Stop the fucking car for me. Descensus is top 5 for sure. Through the Desert Alone, Wish Resign, In fear and faith, Living Together and in the morning and amazing are up there too.

Yeah man. I think Descensus (the album) is so underrated in general, probably my favorite CS along with Juturna.

Only The Sun might be in my top 10, especially with how much i've been gushing over it for the past few years. Descensus is wonderful.



I probably have a slight bias against Juturna and OLG which are my least favorite Circa albums since BSN is what I first heard/got me into the band and at that point I was able to keep up with their releases so i guess they feel a bit more special for me in that sense. still genuinely love those albums but I come back to the 2010's stuff as a whole far more often

If the 2nd half of Violent Waves was as good as the 1st half, it would be ranked above BSN. That said, those two are incredibly close for me. Was difficult to decide which one to go first.



Same deal with On Letting Go and The Amulet. Depending on the day, I would swap the two.

bsn was my high school fav bc its best tracks are easy career highs but its got a couple songs that take me out of the vibe. fortunately the appendage songs can j sub in and fix everything lol

OLG has their best guitar tones and atmosphere of any of their albums. Carry us away, medicine, kicking your crosses down, the morning and amazing, your friends are gone, mandala - some of their best songs are on that album. Bummer it's seen as one of their worst

Idk why but I think BSN to be one of their weaker albums, even though it has their best song. I tend to shrug at most of them, and a couple of them are downright awful. I've gotta go through discography again soon though, I don't remember anything off this album besides the title track.



Also descensus is definitely great, I'd say it's easily top 3 for them

it does have a pretty solid hook but idk never been too memorable a track for me outside of that (still great tho my lowest rate for this band is a 3.5 which is still pretty damn good)



only lowlights on bsn are imaginary enemy and fever dreams (maybe longest mile idk i still rlly like that one) but everyway, stare like youll stay, lazarus, backmask are all right there (everyway is a must in my playlists particularly). of stuff on the record, strange terrain, dyed in the wool and spirit of the stairwell have all been my top 1 track at one point or another
