I originally thought that Say Yes To Life was the best, but I realized that it isnt the best song in terms of a stand alone track. Within the context of the rest of the album, however, that track is fucking magical.

"But I'm having a hell of a time trying to pick between Fear and Trembling, Do Not Let Your Spirit Wane, and Say Yes to Life as to which one should be included from this record to represent the very best GoY song of 2017."

i will make your life easier: pick persevere

Im actually surprised by the love for Pesevere here; aside from the interludes, that's my least fav track on here

"The Deepest Fears" would be my pick from this, but I'd also agree with "Persevere" and "Say Yes To Life." "Keep Me In The Open," although I love that track, is my least favourite overall, which isn't something I've seen anyone agree with so far :/

Damn, this album is phenomenal. How have I not heard of this band before this album. Not quite AOTY, but damned if this is not nearly flawless.

Yeah that song is so tragic and beautiful. Its up there with my SOTY's as well. It's really cool that he captures the whole narrative of it with the recounting of a dream.

Le Symbolique and Let Me Down Easy may be the best pair of rock songs of the year.

always a bit hesitant to praise stuff too hard before we approach the end of the year, but I'm giving this a slight bump and joining the 4.5 club, album gets better each listen
