I used to think that Chester is a name of a cheese.
Anyway, R.I.P. Cheddar Bennington.

on the vinyl, it says lyrics by shinoda and that chester was more of the vocalist. it's so cool that mike wrote all of breaking the habit over a long period (like years) and he's not even in it. he's the mastermind behind the group

althought mike said that chester was the hardest worker of everyone by far and wouldn't stop until he was satisfied

yeah. It's not like the vinyl for HT says mike wrote all the lyrics but it does credit him on most and im sure he and chester worked together on getting certain songs right like place in my head or something, but I think mike's the brain center behind their old stuff

Yeh, Mike writes most of the lyrics and songs in general, I always thought Chester was the guy behind the more 'personal' songs but that doesn't seem to be true

Yeah Mike was the driving creative force of the band while Chester was the man who put the voice to make the ideas into a reality. Doesn't make the song's lose any less meaning they had, but Chester was really the glue for a lot of those earlier albums.

But obviously on songs like Points of Authority and Crawling, Chester definitely had a say in the direction for the lyrics
