Nobody ever shows love to Eternal Return 😔

I will have to venture outside this and Deliver Us one of these days.

Undoing Ruin is an essential mane you gotta at least hear that one sometime soon

A step up from Deliver Us? NAH. Heavy is overrated, the melodic work on DU is too good. But yeah Undoing Ruin is also amazing.

Thinkin he meant a step up from the albums after Deliver us, not necessarily the album itself.
That looks like a good one to go to next, Jeet. I might try all of them at some point and see what all I think is worth coming back to.

Ecnalzen is correct. And I still standby those later albums being very underrated

Ah, gotcha. And since Spotify exists I don't see any reason not to binge entire discographies to see what you like.

Spotify and my computer have issues and I never dug deep enough to find out what was going on.
I usually use Youtube, or bandcamp if the artist has it, and then buy if I like enough.

The band linked to a campaign where you can donate to his medical expenses on their facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DarkestHourDudes/
@Ecnalzen
Their debut The Mark of the Judas, Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation, and The Eternal Return are all well worth checking out, some damn good songs on those.

Ahh, the ol' medical fundraiser. An American tradition!

I personally cannot fathom why anyone except the really rich would vote to keep a system that requires this sort of thing intact. Where I live healthcare is basically free and it's helped me many times, so I happily pay my higher taxes for that sort of system.

Americans are dumb. Many of the people that a better healthcare system would benefit most are strongly against it purely because they don't want to pay more taxes. Can't have the government taking our money and actually doing something helpful with it can we?

"Americans are dumb."
Blanket statements like these are also dumb.

I didn't think that I had to explain that I didn't mean literally every single American is dumb. But Trump is in the white house. That alone says a lot.

I don’t know what it is about this band, they have so much depth in their albums and their sound. It took me years to get in to Darkest Hour, I’d never found them catchy enough and thought they sounded slightly too chaotic for me, but since I discovered their more accessible self titled album last year I’ve really got stuck in to all their releases. However I’d been struggling with this one, until today, when it just seemed to click. The fantastic thing about Darkest Hour is their replay value, I can listen to albums over and over and not get fatigued. A really underrated band I feel.

Yeah these guys are one of the best bands of their era, but always underrated
