"I was referring to Led Zep II, IV, Physical Graffiti and HotH."
I'd swap IV for Presence, but that's just because I'm weird...otherwise, agreed.

Presence is great, but only a 3.5, while II, IV, Graffiti and HotH are solid 4.5's and 5's.

Classic Zep is 69-79 Thank you very much. Or at least 69-76...
What do I see in Presence that you guys don't?

Its still a great album

Presence has Achilles
Other Zep albums don't have Achilles
Basic math right here

"For Your Life" too. Deff top 5 Zep for me.
Honestly I don't really see a problem with a single song on Presence.

Honestly, this is my least fovorite LZ Studio album except for Coda (because duh) ... I mean the highlights are wonderful, but I kind of hate "Hats Off to (Roy) Harper" and I always thought "That's the Way" was kind of overlong and boring and poorly placed (I mean it comes after a similar song "Tangerine", except "Tangerine" is far better...)
"Friends" is one of my favorite LZ songs ever though so I don't know...
This is Led Zeppelin though so obviously it's still a 4 lmao

mmm, I think LZ I might be the weakest of the first 6

This is probably third or fourth best for me, weirdly overlooked in the discography in my opinion. Yeah, Hats Off To Roy Harper is easily one of the weakest LZ songs though.

"mmm, I think LZ I might be the weakest of the first 6"
I meant out of the first 8 actually, honestly I don't and never have seen Presence and ITtOD as far weaker than the others... actually Presence is my 2nd favorite because 1973-1976 Zeppelin is my favorite Zeppelin : )

I don't know, Presence is really great, and pretty close to LZ I for me in quality. ITTOD is very inconsistent, in my opinion, though. Still has some great songs, but clearly the weakest album besides Coda.

I really like every song on ITTOD except "South Bound Suarez" So I can't agree with the majority of people here... I actually thought the synth basis for the songs was really creative and engaging.
Which is why it's my 7th favorite, not my 8th.

@facupm: yep, it's great.
@ArsMoriendi: I agree South Bound Saurez is the weakest on ITTOD. Hot Dog's fun, but it's easily one of the band's weakest tracks for me. Carouselambra has some awesome parts, but it's kind of mess in other segments. In The Evening and Fool In The Rain are classics though.

I love "Carouselambra" it's like perfect in my opinion and I weirdly love "Hot Dog" haha.
"I'm Gonna Crawl" is super strong too.
