Some bangers on here for sure. Album is pretty underrated honestly
Orchid, Skyline, and Sleeper are among their best

if they dropped an ep with brian hood production and it had sleeper, hourglass, continuum and the hypnotist on it id at least 4.5 it. those songs are all pretty incredible

Man that video Alan made where he does his own solo for Orchid and shows old band footage in the background is so good

I revisit it every now and again, makes me long for an old-lineup album..

Alan was the lifeblood of their melodic side. Jesse can write some pretty stuff but Alan really had a knack for it.

t/t on this is straight up one of my fave Erra songs

man gonna be honest back when i first rated this highly i kinda figured it was bc i was in the honeymoon phase with this band and that over inflated my appreciation for everything they did, but now that im at a point where their newest newest music isnt inspiring me and i dont blindly love everything w their name on it...i still love this album lol
hypnotist outro still the best 30 seconds here

its still bottom 2 erra including all eps but it probably wont be anymore when the new one comes out unless they pull some kind of reverse reverse and jesse turns off autopilot (will g l a d l y eat my words if i am wrong tho pls prove me wrong jesse)

jesse was sounding a bit wack on the latest track. so i dunno

his voice still sounds amazing ngl. its that three note color decay hook that has me very worried. most forced erra hook ive ever heard, and the verses and bridge tread the exact same ground. no idea how he isnt bored out of his mind singing that
at least the production rules and jt sounds great. maybe the other stuff will be better

This album is actually way better than I remember. Definitely their most melodic venture and has some truly beautiful sections.

feel like this album has just been forgotten by most ERRA fans, I mean.. their self titled is really good so I kinda get it, this album though will always hold a special place in my heart

i like this album a lot but it is pretty funny to me that this album is the moment in time they wanna do a 10 year tour for when the time comes lmao. guess that bodes well for self titled tho since that's been so much bigger for them
i'll fuckin go tho. good tones and reasonable jt vocals have always been what this needed the most and i don't see either of those going away in the next two years

Jesse told me Drift is his fav Erra album so that could be why. Or they thought don't do older albums as no Garrison.

Drift is the most Ghost Atlas-sounding Erra album to me, it's an effortlessly enjoyable listen for me, always has been
