I think being really old like me you have had years of being subjected to music you don't like by friends, relations, girlfriends, etc and it used to be harder to find new music. You had to listen to radio shows/tv music video shows where you might hate 20% of the stuff

Personally, if an album has at least one good moment (cant just be okay, or not bad), it's not gonna be a 1 but at least a 1.5/5 .

Personally there's only one type of music I dislike because of personal experiences but that's for pretty personal reasons I don't want to share here. I can see however the workplace driving me mad with the radio.

I don't feel all that cynical, I listen to as much new music as old and tend to either post because I like something or I'm just putting up a bit of harmless pisstake...
...but then that's also how I interpret Zak's input on the site too so :/
