I'm starting to see the light, guys. This was MUCH better in a good set of cans. I heard a lot of insane detail I didn't before, and the riffs were a lot more melodic.
I still hate his clean singing though. I just....skip that one song.
Also, the end of Recharging the Void is absolutely insane.
Side notes: I thought these dudes were in their early 50s for YEARS up until last night. I kept seeing the singer's hair in random photos in reviews, and just thought he was some guy trying to relive his youth.
Turns out he's 32.

It's really the black metal elements that make this so engaging for me. I get it that thrash and bm are best buddies when it comes to metal subgenres but like just when I feel like they left me in shred city too long BOOM. Blasts and trems.
Listen to 5:26 on LCD and tell me that doesn't black metal harder than most black metal from the last several years.
