In speaking of that do you guys remember when Hurley came out and that was the big Weezer comeback for awhile? I remember for awhile it had a 3.6 on here or somethin like that.

nah hurley was always shit
weezer had this formula going where they would make like 1-3 good songs for each album that everyone would eat up and think "hey weezer is back" but the album in general would be bad
until recently, which fantano argues is in part because the culture of music is changing in that singles matter much less than albums right now what with streaming services and things, and that makes sense imo

I've honestly never been that infatuated with Blue. My Name Is Jonas, for example, has never really stuck out to me as an especially great song. The album does have some killer material, though, don't get me wrong.
