I mean, the band posted the Kerrang! article on their social media and thanked Kerrang! for hosting the stream but yeah it's a YouTube video. YouTube videos are the best medium for album streams right now because they are easily shareable in forums and social media

Is their a signature sound to cassette or something? I always wonder why I see band cassettes being sold

A CD is going to sound better than a cassette. Cassettes inherently have additional distortion that the purists like to refer to as warmth

Idol is satisfying on first listen, they seem to be developing their blend of authentic OSDM feel with proper prog metal quite well. Only issue I'm sensing is that I don't know what Idol does that Anareta doesn't already do.

This is without a doubt a very talented band. This one may even have a bit more craftsmanship and speed than the new release, but not as successful in transitioning brutality and ugliness into beauty tho. The Nihilist, Acolytes, The Sum of all failures and the closer are my faves on this one. Both flow really nice but this is just a bit more tiring imo Idol felt to me as a bit less thrashy and a bit more modern and unique.
