Because it's nearly perfect/better idk. They are quite different albums so it makes sense why opinions will differ

I prefer LAUGHING STOCK but I totally get why people would like this more. There was even a time I thought maybe it was better, too.
This and LAUGHING STOCK are yin/yang the same way that The Cure's PORNOGRAPHY and DISINTEGRATION are. Similar in many ways but still very different, with adamant defenders on both sides.
