It is very good, just feels the least necessary or something idk.

i honestly feel like if there was one major track here that could be considered 'least necessary' or whatever it'd be fu inlé for me. but it's still a fantastic song so it's kind of a waste of time to think about it

I like Fu Inle's place on the album, feels important in the way it whets the appetite / segues into Republic of Heaven. I was just fantasising about a world in which the long opening sequence sets the tone for the triple-headed behemoth of Heaven / Burial / Snares.
Of course the narrative would be ruined, but I was thinking only of the compositional / instrumental aspect and how Woundwort suffers slightly being surrounded by other huge pieces that feel more essential.

well i guess in that regard it makes sense (fu inlé is a nice tone-setter for the album) but to me woundwort is just as big and essential as the songs surrounding it
