I felt this way when Brave Bird were immature on Facebook. Whirr are the obvious ones too. So many bands are just real childish arseholes publicly and I just don't understand. They openly attack their fans and it's like, guys, you owe your fans everything.

Guy from Brave Bird said "if anyone ever comes up to me and asks me where I'm from, they better step back so I can punch their fucking teeth out". Then he went on a rant about how people judge him because he is philipino or something I can't remember, and he talked about white privilege stuff. That's all well and good and I respect anyone's stance on racism as long as it's rational. What bothered me was his attitute to fans who disagreed with him. I know he used the word "retard" a lot when attacking their fans. Just generally being really disrespectful telling fans to fuck off.
Whirr were much, much worse. Didn't they have a go at a transgendered band or something? Then their label dropped them as a direct result because they refused to support such a disgusting band. Was that Whirr or am I getting them confused with someone else? Somebody help me, my memory is getting very bad in my old age (I was born first and am superior haha!)
