Solid review but for some reason I can't get myself to sit down and actually listen to this. Checked out Ghost and it was meh at best.

I enjoy this even more than Rescue and Restore. Pos. Also, @LivingThrowaway does it matter? They make killer music.

I think that a 3 is a perfect rating for everything this band has done since Constellations.

They've not recorded a bad album or even a bad song, but they've not taken any risks at all aside from an occasional quirky interlude. Nothing wrong with that, but there's nothing very memorable on the last three records.

still dont understand how this is progressive metal. everything is in 4/4 and sounds like standard metalcore with silly interludes (and i dont mean that as an insult)

most of the interludes on here are poorly executed too. Majoring in the Minors is a great example of that.

^Yup, this album is definitely a step back from Rescue and Restore in that department. The only interlude I really liked was the one in Martyr, which was a shitty song otherwise.
