Got into them at 17 because I thought the cover for Blackwater Park looked awesome. Started to love the band without even knowing they had a huge following. Then I discovered this site and I was totally amazed at the hype around them.

ahaha sunlight dude even as a little kid, one of my first memories was hearing the opening notes of Black Sabbath's self titled (kinda scary actually) and otherwise Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Dark Side, The Wall, Paranoid, Led Zeppelin IV vinyls.
Black Sabbath is still the best band of all time.

I don't really understand how I've got albums from artists that are so obscure they're not even present on this site (sometimes the artist isn't either), yet it took me THIS long to discover these guys. Metal noob. Do the kids still say 'noob'? Man I feel old.

Yeah definitely, I don't even look into new stuff these days because there's so much I've missed. I might have heard maybe 1 or 2 albums from 2016 & nothing from this year at all. Spread myself too thin when I was younger, tried to like everything. Some of it has stuck though so it was a worthwhile experience/exercise.

@Piglet - I think Sabbath would've been a bit before my mum's time, well not really I guess but maybe not the era when she was 'discovering' the most music. I do remember some Led Zep from when I was young but not sure what my earliest memories were. I used to love Queen as a kid, which I got from my parents (mainly my Dad though, I think), well that's what my mum says anyway, haha. Probably the first band I really liked.

Yeah this never fails to amaze me. All band members are at the top of their game, especially Mikael and Lopez really surpassed themselves on here.

This might be closer to a 5 than Blackwater for me, touch & go anyway.

Both are 5s for me. This one is more of my liking stylistically, but then again it could be considered a weakness that the last 3 don't really keep the flow of their precursors anymore, so that's the one little flaw on here (even though I love those tracks anyway) that maybe keeps it from being exactly as good as BWP ...
