you could say that you could make it, sure. i just don't see how that could be a criticism of the
quality of the album.
let's say you had the capability and then went through with making this exact same album. okay cool.
so what does it sound like? does it sound good to your ears or not?
who cares if it was difficult to do? i hate that criticism of any medium. not everything has to
be spectacle. all that matters is the end result and whether or not it sounds good. who cares how they
got there.

yikes i just dont know how you could think this is lazily put together when so many of the tracks feature so many intricate parts that work off each other. 7 alone has a zillion things going on to generate the most sublime sense of "chill"

idk i kinda like how it feels "lazy", it makes it feel less like a person made it and more like its just some fucked up cassette or something, like some abandoned mixtape left out in the sun that skips and doesn't play properly

I get the sound this record was going for, like you stated in the review (awesome review btw), it takes dated 80s pop tunes and tries to turn them into something new and interesting (even unsettling at times). When it works, it works great (tracks 1, 3 and 6 for example), but I feel this could've worked far better than it did if the artist had perhaps spent a little more time on it.
I think if this artist puts out another record in the vein of Floral Shoppe it could potentially be a massive improvement upon this
