The lyrics suck hard. I actually ended up liking this a lot, though. Crept up on me. It's not Traced in Air or even Focus, but I enjoy it regardless.

^ I feel the exact same way. The musical performances are extremely tight, the vocals are probably the best on any Cynic record to date, and the songs themselves are pretty strong throughout the record. I rarely ever read lyrics though, so maybe that why this album doesn't bother me.

Overall they aren't awful, but there are some glaringly bad lines. I don't much pay attention to the lyrics either, but sometimes they are unavoidable.
Musically, though, I am satisfied. Moon Heart Sun Head owns hard.
