I hope the next album shows them experiment a bit more. As much as I love this and the rest of their discography, their sound has pretty much remained the same.

I saw what you said and agree with you. I love their albums but it's eventually going to get old if they don't try something new. Even if it isn't good, I'll appreciate that they tried.

Yup, I wouldn't be offended at all. Only way I would be is if they pulled a Discharge on us or something but I can't see that happening.

They need to add some ska to their sound. A few trumpet solos here and there. It'll be a 4.2/5 just wait.

I kinda don't understand what it means to "take chances" for guys who write music like Ulcerate. They basically couldn't be more unpredictable if they tried, so wtf does it mean "they need to be more adventurous"... unless you are being sarcastic and my silly mind just can't grasp it at this time

taking it from face-value (as most people did), they pretty much re-worked on DoA adding a sludgier tone and the aggression of EiF. the songs are incredibly well-written but it doesn't show as much as it did on Eif as it's covered in that dense grimey atmosphere.

that itself is a minor gripe of mine as well, but I mainly preferred it as how much more was said lyrically on EiF than on this and DoA.

It's supposed to be the other way around bro. Clearly you're listening backwards.

I think these guys will become the new Immolation if they keep this up. Album after album of solid, yet predictable, death metal using their signature sound.

I meant in style. You always know that they will bring the thick and dark riffs, just not sure how this time around.
