this is such a strange opinion to me. world is fine, it's a nice opener but idk, there isn't a whole lot to it. maxim's 1 and 2, hello stranger, green wild, this is a true heart, city appearing - all far more creative, full-bodied and affecting imo

This lost me a little bit on the overtly ambient parts. Instead of getting immersed in the minimal atmosphere, it just kind of didn’t hold my attention. If I wasn’t completely sold on this, would it still be worth it for me to check out her later stuff? For the record, I loved the songs like Maxim’s II

Diving into her discog because I've never understood the hype and this is wonderful but sometimes the over-the-top cutesy vocal delivery gets old
