We think we're the greatest generation, but others believe we're the worst.

Complaining about "kids these days" is a millenia-old tradition.

we are the worst generation. kids get famous for being knocked up for fucks sakes.

only because it wasn't possible for it to be a thing in previous generations. Blame Al Gore for creating the internet and making our generation what it is.

Well, that is shitty, and all, but us as a generation actually has a lot going for us. Most of our generation accept people of other race, and sexual preference better than the last generations.

Plus more of our generation have no religion, which it's whatever, but has easily been the cause for a ton of shit that happened in past that wasn't necessary.

I'd like to think the older generations had more respect and class. especially dealing with marriage and reproduction.

Yeah and they were also racist and sexist

There's negatives and positives with every generation as technology and society changes. To claim that we are the worst generation because of television shows is stupid.

I don't think things are getting dumber, stupid people have always existed, except instead of those people going out and beating people for being gay they sit inside and watch Duck Dynasty.

I absolutely hate it when people are like "our generation is so bad omg!!!!" and like "omg what has

the world come to! back in my day, people didn't do this shit or that shit! ugh.

with that kind of thinking, back in the 1700s or so, british people be like, "what do you mean I can

go to jail for killing an Irishman?! back in my father's day, you could kill as many Irishman as you

wanted and not go to jail. what is this world coming to? my generation sucks so much! where did our

morals go?!"

good conjecture chipmunk but is it true?

probably not, one reason being people were lucky to live to be 40 in Britain back then. people haven't always thought the same way as they do now.

I don't know the exact measures, but the fact was clearly mentioned in my AP Euro book, the teacher made a joke about it since on the jokers of the class was Irish.

1600s would probably be a much more accurate century than 1700s.
