heard viva emptiness for the first time the other day. it was pretty bad. omerta was good on it. this is definitely my favorite Katatonia album although i still need to check Brave Murder Day

yea omerta is one of the few good tracks on viva emptiness. they fucked up with the heavier tracks.



this BMD and TGCD are all 4's but BMD is the best i'd say. be prepared though as it's nothing like these later albums. it's straight up doom/death

yeah i have it / have heard it before. i just haven't really sat down with it and gave it a full chance. i've put it on at work or whatever and ended up not paying too much attention. will check soon tho

Renkse's vocals aren't too great on that one I find. They got much better on Last Fair Deal
