usually screamo/post-hardcore hybrids are not my thing

and also I listened to the Saltwater EP and didn't find it too exciting or emotionally engaging, save for Houses We Die In.

obviously that doesn't mean I won't think this is amazing, i just haven't felt like OMG I'M GOING TO LOVE THIS SO MUCH

Nothing they've done before can really hold a flame to this, in my opinion. Pretty much feel the same towards Saltwater myself. Imagine A record made up of 8 heartbreakers - all as good or better than Houses We Die In - that flow together perfectly, and all build towards one of the most cathartic songs ever. Hope you at least give 'er one good shot.
