@Ecnal, yeah we went over how you don't find (*fin) that amazing. It's my favorite song ever so it follows that I'd just like this more than you do.
@SS, you're breaking my heart! At least this 5 review will stand forever

Ha, yeah, I remember that, toxin. Hope I didn't come off as ranty during that 'conversate.'
I don't know if I have a favorite song ever. Maybe Daeladus by Thrice. There are probably some other contenders.

There is still a disconcerting lack of 5s here, ties and KJ, where are you!

And yeah man I wish I was around more...I can't remember the last time I went this long without writing a review. I might be able to reconnect with the sputnik society this summer, but if not my name will in all likelihood be etched into the revered wall of emeritus (emeriti?)

haha, it's cool. And great pick, that's the song that got me into Thrice (briefly) actually.

I got into Thrice because they were touring with Brand New. The first alchemy index cd was my first experience with them unless you count the song or two they had in the early 2000's Madden games

By the way, toxin, is there a stream for your dig anywhere? I checked Spotify but didn't see it and only found a few songs on youtube.

@Ecnal, I don't think so. It's a two-song CD, and I think the first/better one "Stella" is on Grooveshark but ymmv in terms of quality.
Not sure if it's your thing though, it's pretty different from what I normally enjoy.
RE: Thrice, I still remember my first experience was Vheissu after ties and Emim rec'd them to me on an old thread, back in my Red/Skillet/Three Days Grace days. Didn't like it much though, not until I heard Daedalus and later a few tracks of Artist did I start liking them.

I heard To Awake And Avenge The Dead by Thrice on an Atticus sampler in 2003.
I would have loved to see them with Brand New. They were (and kind of still are) my favorite bands back when was younger. I did get to see them with Thursday back in the day, which was pretty cool.

Damn, I am too tired to listen to a 36 minute track. Got about 10 min in. It was pretty interesting so far.
