just started listening to this the other day, not sure how I like it compared to Fables, but it's certainly a bit darker

idk maybe dark's not the best word, just a bit less... uplifting I guess, more aggressive in some places than Fables, which I think
partially comes from Cliff tuning his guitar down to B for a lot more of the tracks

while i've heard money was a problem and the band was in pretty bad debt... i don't think FtM breaking up was a money issue.



Plus after Brett and Jon left they sounded pretty bad live. Logan did not mesh well at all and (10 Years/whatever bass guy/insert name here) was meh.

People keep saying this, and I think at the end of the day if they wanted to make a new album they would do that. But they dont, and they havent. Brett and Jon left, Cliff has dropped off the face of the earth (but his mother confirms he is in fact alive), the keyboardist has other commitments and Darroh is living the suburban life with his wife and kids and is teaching music.



But I agree, its crazy a band as good as this could just...stop

Blast from the past, that was me hahaha. I was on the FTM forums and was bored one night so I rickrolled every track on the album then posted to mediafire as an album leak. Ahhh, good times.

Still holding false hope that this band comes back one day.

Some small part of me thinks maybe that the reason they havent announced all the members of Erstwhile is because they are gonna surprise-reveal Darroh's return to the music industry at the last minute
