my dad owned this on cd while I was growing up
he never recced it to me though, instead he gave me all his U2 and The Strokes.
So I happened to be looking through his CDs over spring break, and realized I'd never listened to this. threw it on my computer last week, and I just got to it tonight.
fuck my dad for giving me the strokes and not this though, ffs

Well your dad has some good taste then. That's funny though, while i have love for the strokes, specifically their 1st 2 albums this is far superior as a whole. Jam on dude. Any tracks you digging hard?

tbh I don't like the strokes very much. their guitar tone bugs me and they just kind of seem like the audio equivalent of smoking cigarettes to look cool.
