Thomas, you're easily pleased if that made you laugh.

Oh God, the old Thomas has been lost forever. He's one of the "cool" people now.

The title track is decent. But everything else is Sum 41's other albums' b-sides remixed.

Sum 41 were my favourite band nearly ten years ago, and I've always liked them to some extent since, but after the relative regression and disappointment of Underclass Hero, I didn't have high hopes for this album. But since I've got properly into it through repeated listening, I love it. The song structures, with unexpected tempo/mood changes in the first few songs in particular, show their progression; lyrically, some of the songs are so dark, emotional and powerful; and they still retain their classic trademark energetic sound. Some of their best work to date imo.

This review, on the other hand, is so half-assed and ill thought out it shouldn't deter anyone from checking this out - if you think Does This Look Infected? represents "All Killer No Filler Part 2" you really don't have a clue about this band...

Man this album is a lot better than 1.5. Holy Image of Lies is an awesome song. Yes, Sum 41 is completely unoriginal. Yes, they take ideas and mix a LOT of popular bands but they do it fairly well. For starters, Deryck is a great vocalist, totally underrated.

I just don't understand how somebody could hate this band for being unoriginal.. almost everything is unoriginal these days.

That makes it easy, you just hate almost everything :P

Forced originality seeking aside, they were always a bit derivative, but once their lead guitarist quit they became ridiculously bad.
