If anything, I'd say Endgame heads vaguely back in the right direction from ATR, in the sense that it's slightly harder. You have to wait all the way till the end of ATR (Whereabouts Unknown is the hardest and IMO best on the album) to really get the most out of Tim, whereas you get a taste pretty much right from the get go with Endgame.

Anyways, definitely not arguing either album has anything on their older stuff. They still rock though!

^Nah, definitely best in ATR was Savior.

Savior is definitely a wicked song. I guess one of the main problems with Endgame is the lack of any real standout tracks. Most of them are pretty cool live though.

I think both the first single and Architects relatively stand out, but I guess you're right

saying that this lacks a bunch of more individual standouts. Seriously, I had my thoughts on a 3 for

this.

Yea I guess the singles are generally going to stand out somewhat. Not a massive fan of Help is on the Way tbh - kind of got over it after the Rock NZ started playing it like five times every day.

That makes any classic become an awful.

I seriously can't believe that so many people are saying this is better than ATR. They're practically the same album, only this one isn't memorable.

This is too solid for a 2,5 though.

It's memorable if you give it a chance. It's a grower..

^Please tell you didn't like this better than their previous. I should arrest people for that. I'm kinda angry with this release as it disapointed me a bit. And Rise Against shouldn't disappoint me.

Band just seems a lot more corporate and generic now. Not that it's bad at all, but they just seem to have lost something when Chris left the band.

I'm really surprised with the reception. After ATR, I thought this would be hated to death.

Even the people that wanna hate it are secretly singing along to most of the songs.
