I never listened to this band as a kid. I do remember listening to Sum 41 quite a few times, however

Dude you definitely heard them everywhere. There was no avoiding it from parties, to radio, to bar/batmitzvahs, sweet 16s, the mall - this shit was everywhere, man

@darkside: I was being totally serious. Even in the radio stations where All Star and The Middle were being played incessantly, I never heard this band growing up. The first exposure I had to them was when I was in a band in high school. One of the band members wanted us to play Dammit. I heard it and instantly took a disliking to it, a disliking I can apply to this entire band :P even as a big pop punk fan, I can't stand these guys

I still say "Forgive my neighbor Bob, I think he humped the dog" often just for shits and giggles.

I'm developing a theory about this being the bottom end of all experimentation of music
|

@Soccer - Lol, I can tell by your 1. I think they're fun, but I could totally see why someone would hate them. I grew up on Long Island NY, don't know if location would make a difference to exposure (it shouldn't) but it's weird that you never really heard them. Guess by your estimation you weren't missing much ahaha
@uhh- best theory ever 11/10
