I have the crusade also.
IMO it is a really good album but it is not trivium.
Everyone was expecting it to be better than ascendancy so...... a lot of fans will be disapointed unless they allready have it.
Its still good just not trivium
best songs on the crusade are Detonation,The crusade(instrumental) and the rising

I hated this band with a passion. I told everyone who liked them how much they sucked. Then one day I was convinced to give the album a try and bought the album. Upon listening to this album, I concluded they did suck but I couldn't put my finger on what made them suck so bad. I kept listening to the album all week trying to figure out what I didn't like about the album and one day I told myself this album is actually pretty good!
If you give the album a few listens you'll love it, the screaming made me want to bang my head against a wall. Then I realized it fits the aggressive riffs and even though the riffs are simple they are so brutal, I just really fell in love with it. Giving it that I only listen to the first seven tracks. Give it a chance!

I would be lying if I said this was an original album with a lot of variety, but I still really enjoy it. It's true they are stuck in a rut with their song writing, but I liked the sound of this album (now the Crusade... oh man...), and its still a fun listen for me.

Overhyped IMO... theyve only received recognition because of Roadrunner and the fact that the guitarwork is OTT and smilar to old school thrash style of Testament and the like.

Yes I understand how this album seems to tick people off but i feel it deserves just that bit higher score the band has got so far in such a little time yes they have a small amount of experience but they did so much better than most other bands

Well we really don't know that yet since they are still extremely young and have only come out with 3 albums. You can't say they squandered their potential until their career is over and then examine it as a whole.

ugh...I understand alot of people on this site don't like trivium or their material but that doesn't give those people the right to make a statement about a band's future since they have no idea what it might hold for them. That was not just directed at the above post but to the general public of this site.
