I'd say either Oh Comely or Two-Headed Boy Pt. 2 are my favourites. But it's hard to pick one. Wish I could've seen them live, King of Carrot Flowers Pts. 2 & 3 are better by about infinity live just 'cause Jeff spaz' out. But yeah needs moar NMH reunion though, amirite?

This is the first album I've actually listened to all the way through in the indie genre, and it is fantastic. This album has pretty much opened the genre as a whole for me now!

So I gave into the hype and picked this up. I really don't know if I'd rate this any higher than a 3, but that's only after one listen. Someone please convince me to listen for specific details that merit this a classic.

Seriously, dude, you will not understand this record on first listen, that's pretty much a given. The lyrics and the general honesty and emotion are the main pull but don't listen for anything in particular, it's not exactly a technical album. Just spin it a few more times, and if it doesn't affect you, come back to it in a couple of weeks. It'll get you eventually and when it does you'll wonder how you ever missed it.
