Yes. I could see myself fall seriously in love with Post-Homogenic-Vespertine. Maybe with the others too!

Well those ARE the best ones, after that you have Debut and Biophila. Vulincura too, less concistent but it has Black Lake which is somehow better than the other Black Lake (hoping you get this).

Yup, they're up next.
Also I confess I had to look that Black Lake stuff up, but ha, I guess based on the series' reception I agree with you. Björk's version is better.

Agalloch’s Black Lake Trifo (which is still 9/10).

Hahahahahaha ooooooooooops. I'm not an Agalloch fan at all, so that one went completely over my head. Even with looking it up. Ah well, can't win them all...

This confuses me greatly tbh, just presumed you would be (a fan).

Yeah they should be my thing but some aspects of their sound (vocalist too bland for me, too monotonous overall) annoy me a lot. I keep trying too, every once in a while.

Another day, another Björk-bump.

Yes sounds painful, and not at all in a hot way.

Medulla is great, not Top 3, tho. That'd be Vespertine, Homogenic, and Vulnicura. Debut in a close fourth. Then Medulla-Post-Volta are pretty much equal in the second (but still great) tier.

can't release perfect music forever, she's still great

'medulla was the start of the decline'
True if only because Vespertine was peak. However Vulnicura is better than Medulla imo, so it wasn't necessarily a continuous decline. Biophilia and Utopia are a little too one-note for me, though I'll always appreciate her willingness to attempt something different without worrying about critical response.

biophilia has some BANGERS

For sure. Some solid stinkers, too, though. Thunderbolt is top tier, however.
