I know of that song. She sings well in it but it's not a very good song overall, it's just another girl with her acoustic guitar. Plus she was making this around the same time that she was making other electro pop songs so she never "sold out" or whatever, she's just been making them for fun just like she did on Animal/Cannibal.



Besides a better "version" of that song is on Cannibal. It's an "I miss you" song but done better.

Anyway, so you're saying just making love songs is a part of her "hidden talent she's hiding"? See, it's just about this dumb idea that there's a subject matter that's objectively better than other, it isn't. And no, she's doing this stuff because she's been having more fun with it? lol. She does the "party songs" because they're humorous, sometimes satirical and just really fun, it's obviously a persona (I'm pretty sure she seems kind of more introverted quiet girl irl) but it's more for fun than anything, haha.

The Harold Song is pretty similar to Goodbye except for the fact that it doesn't have acoustic guitar

and it has way better lyrics. Tears in my Eyes is just a break from persona you said she was always

trying to put on for bucks. And I don't like Booty Call either, but she was making that music back

then. I'm glad she improved so much from her old days and learned how to structure songs a lot more

well and have funnier lyrics, more charisma, and Dr. Luke + other better producers.

Well she obviously does have a good singing voice? The auto-tune is obviously for effect. And the lyrics can be fun and witty. They're not supposed be deep, and most of the time they're kind of trying to be as ridiculous as they can be or satirical (or both)

Yeah, it's not that she has a bad voice. It's just that the sing-talk thing she does sounds horrible at times. I agree "Your Love Is My Drug" is my favorite. She also has some good non-singles though, especially on Cannibal.
