Psychopathy Red is by far the best song on this album. Overall though, album has its moments.

I've been going down a dark rabbit hole learning about Unit 731 for the first time. I knew about the Nanking massacre but hadn't delved into what the Japanese were doing right at the end of the war as a last ditch effort. I feel like I'm not gonna be okay for a while, I can't believe that happened and the US didn't try anyone for war crimes and instead just took the research.

Not bad at all compared to 'Repentless'

This is mostly just dull. But this slightly edges GHUA for me because, unlike GHUA, this record actually has a few standout highlights, like Human Strain and Psychopathy Red. Hate Worldwide is pretty decent too. Playing With Dolls is a major stinker on here

GHUA has got a lot of bangers tbh

Disciple is the closest thing that album has to a banger. And I really dont even care all too much for that either. If I ever want post-1990 Slayer (who am I kidding that's not a real scenario), the only album I can get behind is CI

Beginning of Playing With Dolls sounds like satanic Depeche Mode

better than repentless, but wouldn't take much

unironically the best slayer since 1994's divine intervention
public display of dismemberment is, dare i say it, a good song.

certainly has better songwriting than this, nevermind that the production isnt sterile and brickwalled unlike here

I'll check; I'll probably end up liking it anyway lol

sad thing is for some of those bands, no one cares because barely anyone even knew about them in the first place. and some of them definitely deserved to be known
though im thinking more of stuff like realm and infernal majesty
