valid point. Directing my rebuttal in such a way was not only an ineffective approach but also made me come across as an asshole. However I still disagree with you opinion on the reasoning and origins of their randomness. Merely writing random parts to to hide how boring the rest of the music is sounded like a ridiculous argument to me for inserting such parts into their songs

anywho mirrors is good and I just remembered that I actually like one of their songs off colors and i think it was about 2 minutes long

thanks, i mean even as i really enjoy this album, i can definitely see why others despise it. I sorta view the

randomness/quirkiness, what seems to turn off a lot people from them, as a reflection of their personalities that is incorporated

into their music., which doesn't not seem to bother me since they are just attempting to express themselves however they see fit.

i also view it as something a little bit more musically different (btbam in general) from other stuff out there, making it more

appealing to me

Music is in part subjective anyways. Maybe i was overboard when i said 'there are no random parts', at least it doesnt come across as completely stupid like some parts of colors. I'm also sure your not completely objective to every single album u listen to, u despise this album/band for a start.

look at my ratings im not exactly fanboy of the century, colors which is deemed their 'masterpiece' i have at a 4 and thats a low 4 at that, not exactly 'OMG BTBAM ROCK, ALL THEIR ALBUMS ARE GENIUS', just no.

2) The opening of fossil is the most bullshit thing i've ever heard since someone here said brand new was the best band of the new millenium.

also (continued) i find it hilarious that the majority of the colors thread is received positively with 3.5's and above and some ppl saying its the best thing since sliced bread yet there are lots of obvious notable flaws with that album. Yet this album mostly fixes those flaws plus does a whole lot more than colors which i can think of yet half the thread is dedicated to ppl with ratings 2 and below bashing this album lol. I just don't get it i guess. Thats why im defending this album so much because i think its getting alot of unfair criticism when you look colors which was deemed a masterpiece by alot of people 2 years ago. I hope you understand me now instead of deeming me as 'The fanboy of all BTBAM'.
