It's possible to resist it, it just won't be long before you come to your senses :D
There's bourbon on the breath of the singer you love so much
He takes all his words from the books you don't read anyway
His jaw's been broken, his bandage is wrapped too tight
His fangs have been pulled, and I really want to see you tonight
@Ars Is that your favorite here? Not a bad pick, if so.

And when you think of the 9/11 parallels, and the cover, it's truly chilling, even though this was completed before the attacks.

to me, this and Caribou's 'Up in Flames' show similarities. maybe because I've heard some of these songs before and the sound is very familiar, this isn't blowing my mind.

Unless they reunite with Jay Bennett and Jim O'Rourke they won't. Which won't happen because Bennett is dead. Personally I'm happy with the direction they've taken since.
Honestly I see their more experimental stuff as a diversion from the "real" Wilco even though it happens to be where their best work came from.
