First time jammin' this one. Not boring like I thought it would be.

"In Fiction" has a nice Cure vibe.

It's really good. Some of the best post-metal melodies I've come across. The reason I usually stay away from a lot of post-metal is the lack of melody - no such problem here.

yea the melodies are really what make Isis distinctive. post-metal is otherwise for the most part one of the most boring genres

Post-metal can rrreeeaalllllyyy drag. Even some good bands like Sea of Bones sometimes sound like nothing new has happened for half an hour.

As I said I'm prob wrong, but that last one was boring. I've loved almost all of COL, Neurosis, Rosetta and of course Isis so far. Pelican is pretty good too.
