It's a vibe album for sure, like Blade runner with a heavy dose of Lost Boys or something.

Neue Regel, London, Screaming in Digital, I Will Remember are the legend songs for me, but pretty much everything on here is highly regarded except the cover which has mixed feelings.

Finally have the CD for this, the Tidal remaster kept me off for years.

The great stuff is great, but The Killing Words and Gonna Get Close to You underwhelm me.

I recall listening to it on YouTube years ago.

Have you heard the unplugged version of Killing Words? That's how I fell in love with it.

And yeah Gonna Get Close to you is easily my least favorite track of the classic era. It's divisive, but an interesting cover to an already odd song that actually does have some cool creepy vibes.

Finally about to jam this one. Operation is still the only one I've heard and love.

I'm not really a prog metal fan but these guys are really great.

If you're into Queensryche, you should check Psychotic Waltz's "The God-Shaped Void" album... or at least this song to start:

I've heard some some Psychotic Waltz a while ago and dug it. Will definitely check that album.

Fell asleep after the third track but was very much loving it. Will give a really focused jam tonight.

Everything before Mindcrime just feels like it gets eclipsed by it, I always forget they were still really fucking good before that.

Walk in the Shadows is a fuckin banger

Mindcrime is awesome, and is neck-and-neck with this one, but I prefer the weird 80s sci-fi noir feel of this one.

They were arguably my favorite band in the early to mid nineties
