Since some of my favorite moments from Brother, Sister are the "colored spider" sections, will I enjoy this album? I've heard it was similar to those sections.

Just can't get into this one, which is a shame, because I love the rest of mwY' stuff...

Loved this album from the day it came out. Love their older stuff, too. Christian or not, mwY is a unique musical experience not to be missed. And if you're a Christian, all the more love. Sadly, though, I've read about Christians dissing this because of its Islamic influences as well. Puk them. Leave it to religion to ruin a good thing... *rolling eyes* For those of you who don't know, Aaron Weiss's parents are Muslim, hence much of the inspiration for this album (like The Fox, The Crow, and the Cookie) is actually based on an Islamic philosopher, not just Christianity.

King Beetle on the Coconut Estate is seriously one of the most lyrically beautiful and poignant songs ever, especially from a faith standpoint. It's just inspiring and so well written that the least religious or believing people (a.k.a. myself) can still enjoy it's hopeful message without stigma.
