I personally use a Telecaster, a Jackson and a Vox amp. I'd recommend Teles and Les Pauls. Amps depend on the sound you're going for. I like Vox for their chimey sound.

i want to be a heavy skramy man. well dont get any guitar that is cheap and has single coil pickups because it will suck. if its cheap you have to have humbuckers
